ROENTGENOGRAPHIC CEPHALOMETRY IN THE FIELD OF PLASTIC SURGERY -Basic analysis study on Cranio-maxillo-facial morphology for reconstructive diagnosis
Hong Sung-Ho

Abstract
The roentgenographic cephalometry is one of the most important contributions made so far to the facial studies of growth and development, basic and clinical reconstructive planes, detection of congenital and acquire anomalies and to the science of reconstructive medicine in general.

I thank to Dr. Holly B. Broadbent for the development of the cephalometer and to Drs. Tweed, Wylie, Downs, Graber, Donovan and others for the development of the technique of its use and for system of assessment that have made it useful.

It has been claimed by many things that it is a tool of the research laboratory and the difficulties and expense of its use exist in clinical practice because image information to changes is due to mechin of cephalometer, distance to object, film and tube. Experience with cephalometrics are difficulties of accurately locating certain important anatomic structures on the cephalometric x-ray film.

I have writen this paper to determine the basic studies of tracings and to use methods that given direct true readings in basic cephalometric measure points, planes, angles and distances on field of the general roentgenographic cephalometric analysis measurement.
